Polar capacitor

Friends, in today's post, you will be given information about the working of capacitor and its use and how to check capacitor.
Through which many types of problems coming in the motherboard or any circuit can be solved.
After reading this post, you can check the difference between polar and non polar capacitors and their working.

Capacitors : -

Capacitor is known by many other names such as: - Condenser, Filter etc.;

There are menuly two types of capacitors  : -

1. POLAR

2. NON POLAR

Capacitors in any circuit are represented by {C} i.e. capacitors are denoted by C.

1. POLAR Capacitor : -

Capacitors that have negative and positive points. They are called Polar Capacitors.

While putting these capacitors in the circuit, special care has to be taken of negative and positive.

If it is put upside down, it gets hot and explodes. and can also damage the circuit.

Checking (Testing) Polar CapacitorsMultimeter : -

1. Analog Multimeter
2. Digital Multimeter

1. Analog Multimeter : -

The polar capacitor is checked with a multimeter once the needle goes to the end

And then the needle comes back down slowly so the capacitor is right. If the needle doesn't come back

So the capacitor is short.

If the capacitor is open, the meter needle will not move.

If the capacitor shows short or shows open or after the needle goes full to the extreme end

If you stop anywhere in between, even then it is bad.

2. Digital Multimeter : -

Multimeter To Check Polar Capacitor With Digital Multimeter

To set the buzzer on both ends of the capacitor (+ , – ) with both probes of the multimeter

But if the multimeter reading comes back to (1) then it is correct. Apart from this, if you tell anything, then it is bad.

To locate the positive and negative terminals on the polar capacitor

A colored strip appears above that (- - -) is written inside that strip. whom

We call the negative end and the other end is called positive.

2. NON POLAR Capacitors  : -

Capacitors that don't have negative and positive terminals. It is called Non Polar Capacitor.

These capacitors can be installed as you wish.
