What is SMPS? How SMPS Works SMPS FULL FORM?  : -

Hello guys!  I welcome you  - Today we will tell you what is SMPS.
And how does SMPS work?
How to use it, so get started, I hope you will like this post.

Have you also become upset, do not panic, this is the solution, so today we will give you complete information about SMPS, so let's start.

What is smps  : -

Friends, you all know that the AC volt that comes in the house or in the shop keeps getting more and less and voltage is required to run the electronic devices, similarly the computer desktop will also need volt to run.  If we give the voltage to computer and desktop, it is called SMPS.

SMPS Functions  : -

If we talk about the SMPS used in the computer, then it serves to deliver different voltage to our motherboard, like giving different voltage to the RAM (RAM), giving different voltage to the processor and the fan which is used inside the computer  Is to give a different voltage to it.

If we talk in the language of electronics, then the function (voltage) of SMPS is to be divided, if input we give AC (Alternative Current) voltage by converting it to SMPS DC (Direct Current) Voltage.

How many volts are in each pin of SMPS Connectores?  : -

First of all, you need to know how much volt is coming in each pin of SMPS, only then you will know the SMPS completely and will be able to work easily, then let's see.

How does SMPS, Power Supply work?  : -

Although different SMPS work differently, but here we talk about a basic SMPS Working which converts AC to lower DC.  First of all, Alternate comes to SMPS through currrent power cable which properly analyze the components inside the SMPS like Fuse and PF rectifier current and check the volatage.

The current is then sent to the rectifier, the rectifier is also called a switch or voltage doubler.  This is 120 v at a time.  From 230 v.  Performs operations up to  The rectifier produces a much larger DC current than AC current and is sent to the current capacitor.  All this current is in the form of small pulses. All these pulses have very high energy.

Gives as UT  : -

Difference between Alternate Current and Direct Current  -

The value of alternate current varies with time i.e. it does not remain the same all the time, it keeps changing while the value of Direct current is always the same. It does not change.

Alternate current is always used in our homes because all types of electrical components like light bulb, fan, cooler, fridge etc. run from AC only.  Whereas electronic devices which perform digital operation use DC, it is also used in electroplating and welding.

A diode is used to convert alternate current to direct current.  Whereas inverter is used to convert Direct current to alternate current.

DC for Computer  : -

1. DC to DC converter - It converts DC current of one voltage level to DC current of another voltage level.

2. Forward converter - This is also a kind of DC to DC converter which uses transformer to increase and decrease the output voltage.

3. Flyback Converter - It can act as both kind of converter whether AC to DC or DC to DC for this it uses galvanic isolation and also requires separate oscillator.

4. Self-oscillating Flyback Converter - This is also similar to the Flyback converter but it does not use the Separate oscillator, so it has an oscillator inside.

Why is it needed?  : -

Why Direct current is necessary for a computer There are many reasons behind it, but for now we will just know about a simple reason in simple language, as you all know DC does not change over time it always remains the same.  And because all our digital devices like mobile or computer binary operation perform and it is measured when the operation current is not flowing and if current flow is then output is 1 and if current flow is not

So the output is 0 and now quite often there is a condition in which more than one or more than 0 are also required to produce as output, but Alternate current varies with time, so it does not produce results.  Therefore, direct current is used in computers and other digital devices where switches are used to produce 0.

Types of Power supply  : -

It controls the output volatage in a series resistor component.  It uses a much less complex regulatory circuit to regulate under very low load.

SMPS FULL FORM ⇒ Swich Mode Power Supply

We have all already known about it, but it also has four different types, which is something like this.
The SMPS is of 24,20,4 Pin ATX, it is connected in the Connecto MotherBoard and gives a charge of +12 Volt in the MotherBoard.

CPU 4 Pin Connector These connectors are for CPUs that use 4 pins which are 12v and have a connector called SATA Power Connector.

The SATA Power Connector, the camputer consists of a hard disk and a DVD ROM to which this Power Connector gives power. There was some information about the Power Connector of SMPS. It is a 4 pin Connector.
